Prom ideas help, what goes with my dress?

Yes well i’m going to prom soon and i’m trying to put together an outfit for the day but don’t have a clue how to make it work. I’ve seen a type of dress i like which is black and lacey. But i want something to do with it to make me stand out and not look boring in just black lol
I like the fashion sense of Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine and Paloma Faith. Also i love vintage, and the 40′s pin up look. I’m going to wear red lipstick, black eye liner and mascara. I’m naturally quite pale, and have brown eyes if that helps
Also, I have long purpley red dyed hair, and i want something cool to do with it, that will look cool and unique, like wear a bow or flower in it lol.

I really like your ideas, i think you should get a similar dress which is a bit shorter and then get a pair of shoes with ribbon attached which you can tie around your ankle

My sister wore a similar dress/shoes combo and it looked really nice.
