What Draw Wieght Should I Get?
I am 15 and am wondering if it is easier to pull back a 50 pound draw on a newer bow than on a older bow? I would like to purchase a newer model bow but im not sure if i shuold get a 40-50 pound draw or a 50-60 pound draw. I have a older bow the PSE Silverhawk and the draw wieght is somthing like 30-55 and at 50 it is fairly easy to pull back so should i get the 50# or the 60#?

Can you put bowfishing equipment on a regular PSE Silverhawk bow?
I’m thinking about an AMSbowfishing reel and maybe a roller. You would think that you would be able to, but I don’t want to sink money into it if I can’t do it. Thanks for any input.
YES, You can easily bow-fish with your PSE Silverhawk bow. Most all bow-fishing rigs will function beautifully with your bow. They mount simply by screwing them into your stabilizer tap/hole in the front of your bow riser. A rig using a ZEBCO Model 808 Reel (Heavy Duty) works great or the AMS System Reel. Make sure you but a quality solid fiberglass arrow and a bow-fishing point that has a hardened tip in case you bounce your arrow on a submerged rock, and make sure the tip has a reverse barb to make removing the fish easier. Take and extra point and some hot-melt glue and a bernz-a-matic torch in case you have to change the point due to damage. It’s a BLAST..You’ll have a ball!
