Should I get a hoyt bow or a PSE??
I’m looking at getting a Hoyt compound 40-65# bow (used) for 250 dollars. It has a leather case quiver peep sights 11 carbon arrows stabiliser arm guard and finger guard with it, 3 broadheads and a few target points and a new string. But I also saw a used PSE compound 30-55# bow but it doesnt have any accesories with it except for a sight, and its 180 dollars. I want to used it for hunting stuff like hares. Which one should i get?
i also want to hunt bigger things are boars too big for a 65 pound bow?? they have thick skin around their ribs- i shot a .222 at one and the bullet mostly broke up on the outside- can a bow with broadheads get through this?
i never buy used archery equipment any more…i did one time years ago and to my dismay after i had it and shot 3 arrows the top limb seperated . after closer examination it was found that both limbs had hairline fractures that couldnt be seen by the naked eye. Be leary of either bow if it is used. as for which is the best…thats personal preferance ive hunted with PSE HOYT PARKER and MATHEWS…the PSE performed just as well as the other higher cost units

PSE Stinger Compound Bow?
PSE Stinger Compound Bow?
what do the bow hunters think of this bow
PSE Stinger Compound Bow
thinks i am think of buying this so i want a opinion
It will be fine but don’t expect it to last a long time. PSE cuts corners on Cams and Bearings. If you plan on shooting the Bow a lot, you might get 2 years out of it, more if you clean it often.
You are better off getting a Hoyt or Bowtech or even Parker. Those bows are more rugged and those companies stand behind their bows better than PSE. PSE will stand behind their bow untill the check clears then blame you for any problem.
Not only me, but three guys I hunt with all bought PSE bows (4 total). I got mine at the PRO shop in Tuscon. They would not cover Cammo paint that was pealing off in sheets after 3 weeks. All of us had problems. 3 had paint, 3 had Cam problems, One had a limb splinter. PSE would not make it right for any of us. And given we have all hunted with Bows several years with no problems, we know what we are doing with bows, and all these problems happened within a year, one would expect the company to pony up.
And yes, we spent Top dollar on 3 different Models. They make junk. Get something better for your money
