Which bow is better?
a PSE Nova or a Bowtech Tomkat. I want to know why as well.

If you're on a budget look at the border Alps. is very good set-up for the money. I have mine until I upgraded to the Alpine Silverado. In fact, they prefer Mathews PSE and upscale. A configuration of the border will be implemented approximately $ 300, if you can walk to a new Silverado will run about $ 800.

How to chose arrows for compound bow?
i have a pse nova vector 3. its set at about 55 lb draw 28in draw length. I want to know how to select carbon arrows for my bow. i will be hunting with these arrows. What kind of spine and arrow length do i need. everyone tells me to go to a local pro shop but im just looking for information before i head in to make life easier. please let me know all and any info you have
do you prefer carbon or aluminum arrows?
Here is some information to make it easier. When you order arrows, they will have to be taken to a pro shop and cut to length. They will charge for this. By the time you order arrows, pay shipping, and then pay to have them cut, You will have saved nothing.Plus all carbon arrows do not have the same spine rating.By this I mean one brand may have the number 400 on the arrows that are spined properly for you bow and draw. the next brand of arrows may have the numbers
50-60 for the right spine weight for your needs, even though the spine weight is identical for the 2 different brand arrows, the numbers used to denote the spine is different on each brand.
So you see life is simpler if you just go to the pro shop, and tell them your draw length and bow poundage, and they will fix you up. good luck!
