Fair price? PSE Firestorm lite NR?

I’m contemplating selling my bow which has been collecting dust because I cant afford to finish setting it up at the moment, items included in sale:

PSE Firestorm lite NR bow 29″ draw(shot once)
11 Easton ST Axis arrows ($100 or so value)
Basic 3 pin sight
basic prong rest
release
quiver
and additional limbsavers vibration cancelers

do you think $425-400 would be fair seeing as how a bare bow costs 380 brand new? If not why and what would be fair?

You could always try for it…all you need is the right buyer. I would suggest trying to sell it on craigslist for what you are asking. If it doesn’t sell, lower the price, or keep the bow.

Good luck~

How can I tell what year my left handed bow PSE storm was lite?

I just bought a PSE bow used lite storm craiglsist outside and I was wondering how to tell what year it was made or if theres a cerial or model # and maybe the amount your value.

There are a number style in most of the arches on the lower leg beside the elevator. The problem is that most of the arcs that number becomes unreadable as the arc of some use for him. When put in an arch support on a level tree is the main culprit. But if you can call numbers for a workshop in charge of PSE bows and ask them to tell you is the date of manufacture.

how do i tell if my bow poundage is maxed? its rated 60-70 but the archery shop guy told me its maxed at 56?

i just bought a pse firestorm lite the guy at the archery place said its maxed but all he did was look at it. the scale said 56# when he put it on. every web site i went to said its 60-70# 300 ft per sec. i think he just assumed its maxed because it was designed to be one of the smallest litest compact bow so it looks smaller than others

If you bow is listed 60-70 then you could have a maximum poundage of 70 pounds with the maximum draw length of the bow eg. 31 inches.

Depending on how you set your bow will determine your bow’s max.
Draw length and tiller setting (limb poundage).
Bow let off (%) before peak.

Poundage of your bow is measured at the peak of you wheels or cams. At full draw you will only read/measure the actual left-off holding weight.

The websites listed will give you some idea on bow adjustments and poundage.
