PSE nova hunter S8?
I am looking at a PSE nova hunter for turkey and deer hunting. I have 300$ to buy everything I need. I pull 40-45lbs and dont want to spend a ton. I was wondering if these bows are any good for my purpose. I dont want them ignorant Animal Rights Activist commenting on this subject. Thanks alot

I’ve sold PSE in my store for 5 years and never had a complaint.
I did have one owner come in with his about a month ago. He needed me to increase the draw weight. The young man had grown since he bought it a few years ago.
You should be happy with the Nova.

what is good bow for a beginner?
I may start bow hunting this year so I'm looking for compound bow tie with adjustable weight 40 to 70 # but if u do not know which is a parameter that I draw Ned # 50 PSE Deer Hunter property, some had problems with the strings of my cousin the PSE Nova Saud was a good bow but I can not afford my price range is between 0-300 dollars more or less and Im going to hunt white tail with
Most of all composite bows are adjustable, but I do not know at all who are 40-70 pounds. The best thing you can do as a beginner would be a workshop of local archery and everything is ready for a bow that suits you. They can be configured with everything you need and may have a selection of arcs that are used more cheap again and be good for a beginner. Good luck. Dave

What kind of bow should i get?
Ok im from Saskatchewan and i am planning on getting my first bow for hunting. I have a number of choices but i dont know what to get here are the choices (i plan on hunting white tail deer). 1) Bow madness xs PSE with a 50 lb draw weight ( $550) 2) Dear hunter combo PSE with a 40 lb draw weight ( $250 ) or 3) Brute LT PSE with a 60 lb draw weight ( $550)
note: the dear hunter PSE doesnt come with anything and it has no cams only wheels
You need to first decide whether you need cams or wheels, cams would be better for hunting because they store more energy.
You need to find out which bow feels better to pull and hold. You will need at least 50 pound of draw for most states or provinces. Do you get a smooth release, how quite is the bow to pull and shoot? Form, fit , function and comfort should select the right bow. Last factor is the cost.
You might want to consider the accessories you will be putting on the bow, how much weight will it add to the bow and how much noise will it cause when you start shooting?
