Value of a BOW?
I am new to archery. I know a guy who is selling a PSE Fire-Flite compound bow. With it comes a release, 6 easton 2213 arrows, six tri lock broadheads, and a soft padded carring case. He is asking $150 for it. It this a good buy, or should I wait and find something better.
I will be as honest with you as possible here !
PSE is an ok bow. The Fire Flite was not one of their best however, it wasn’t the bottom line either. The set up is worth the $150.00 if its not worn in the limbs.

I always tell everyone to not waste money on something they will be wanting to replace in a year. If you spend just a few more bucks to get a used Hoyt or Mathews bow, you will be so much happier with your choice and you will not be buying a new bow next year because your unhappy ! Yes the cost is double, even for a used one, but the quality is 10 times that of PSE, and well respected as the best of the best !
You have about $30.00 worth of arrows there, and about another $50 in extras. The bow is worth the $150.00 by itself if its in good condition ! If you buy it, look over the edges of the limbs before you do so. Your looking for a white coloring in the bend of the limbs. This means they are basically worn out and will not give good performance. If those are good, all the other is small things to have your local shop tune up.

Rifle or Compound Bow?
Hey Everyone
Im thinking of purchasing a compound bow (PSE Stinger) but I don’t know if I should wait to I’m 18 to get a Full licence then purchase a rifle or just buy the compound bow.
So I also want to know is archery, bow hunting worth getting into or not
My advice is to do it both. But if you are like most people, once you make your first bow kill you will not go back to gun hunting again.
There is nothing more pleasing, more satisfying, more challenging then bow hunting.The only thing any better is sex. And I’m not real certain about that.
