I am looking for a nice compound bow, what should I get?
I have recently decided to switch from crossbow hunting to compound bow hunting and I am looking to purchase a nice bow. My draw length is 27″ and I would like to have a draw weight of 70 pound. I used my uncle’s mathews switchback for a while and I liked it a lot. But I don’t want to bother with borrowing a bow. I have been looking into other mathew bows such as the DXT, Drenalin, and the S2. I will primarily use the bow for white-tail hunting and the occasional elk hunt out west. If you could please help me with what bow I should get it would be greatly appreciated. I am open to all suggestions.
If I were to buy a new bow at this moment, it would be one of these three. The Matthews DXT, the Bow-tech Guardian, or the Hoyt Vectrix. All three are the top of the line, and you can’t go wrong with any one of them. Good luck on your bow hunting this year.
