I want to buy a recurve bow what brand is better…?
…Samick, Martin, and Hoyt. I want somthing for pleasure shooting from 35 to 50 draw weight and i dont want to spend more than 250 dlls whats the ultimate choice for a recurve bow
(you can also name a diffrent brand if u know of a better brand for that money) Please tell why its better and also metion if u have that kind of bow. Thank you
Everyone goes through these tough choices. I shot everything I could get my hands on before I found a really nice 47# recurve made by a local Boyer at an outdoors show. I suggest that you research local archery club events and show with vendors, you’ll be surprised at what you can find locally.
Nothing is wrong with a big name factory bow (I like the Martin)
What state are you from? Maybe someone wants to get rid of one that’s just collecting dust in their closet or, check e-bay.
If you plan on hunting with it, please stay above 40-45#. I know it’s possible to successful with less but your chances will be lessened by it.

Low 10 meters? Really? It takes a little effort. Do not even someone who has a pin 10 meters. In general, you can not see anything below a 20-yard pin. Many hunters, myself included, with a modern bow with a patio and 30-pin to start. Most shoot bows flat enough for a patio 30 pin everything from shooting to 30 meters and still be in the game animals in size. Reading what you have above, you are absolutely It has been all along. You try to use the upper bolt to hit 10 meters, and cheap shots. But, and here's the part I do not understand, you PIN below that are empty. You know you see individual pins on your right before? Not everyone in sight. You just take the code that you want as starter and adapt it to his bow shoots where. Done. Adjust the length of the failure to adjust the weight of the arc, which is a specific adaptation. You would probably be useful to find an action game and having to show certain things. This will be a large easy to read and will probably be running in an hour or two.

compound bow draw weight?
I was thinking about getting a hoyt bow..
im new to compounds and the one i want has a draw weight of 40-70#
and the feet per second was 303?
does this mean if i put the bow on 40# that i will still have fps of 303?
and if not what would it be?
im just wondering and if you could help me out thanks…
You are never likely to reach the quoted IBO speed of the bow, and at 40lbs you will certainly not reach it, no. The speed is a measure taken from arrow weight, draw weight and draw length.
Usually, the actual speed is somewhere between the IBO and AMO speed since they are different measurements… the only true way is to shoot an arrow using a chronograph. This gives a digital readout and will show the actual speed of the arrow leaving the bow.
At a guess, and its impossible to say, you would probably get something in the region of around 225fps.
