Do you ever find yourself caught up in the self-indulgent fantasy of the two of us, cheek to cheek, dancing a?
tender, romantic minuet? Our fingers tingling with every touch? Our hearts all a-twitter with the hopefulness of the autumn evening? The elegant souds of the string courtet in the background? Do YOU? Do you go wild with desire? When you remember the dress I wore? The acid-washed, ’80′s-style mini dress complete with oversized bow over the butt? My brown pleather fringes swaying gently back and forth as I glide acrosss the floor in your arms?
You know it………..I still have that dress. And I’m kind of ashamed to admit it but I still wear the acid washed mini. The bow I keep next to my pillow

The recipe for a modern orchestra
There are many other strange and interesting forests are found in all the orchestras. Sticks will be from Dutch Guiana of a love affair with reddish brown wood with brown spots with black spots, similar to that of a snake.
The tuning fork, violin pegs and tailpiece are made of ebony from Africa, has all the way to the rainforest of Africa. The bars of xylophones and marimbas and often sticks are Brazilian rosewood and Central America.
The wood color ranges from reddish brown to dark purple or black with purple stripes in, and named for their fragrance. It is ideal wood for the purpose, because it is hard, dense, has a nice polish and produces a brilliant, resonant tone when strikes.
Then there are the mahogany shells, drums, drumsticks and drum walnut hoops, tambourines walnut, maple for violin and bassoon funds, and American basswood to "cases.
Some people are less the orchestra music when they hear about the death of two to three ewes was necessary before a violin can be equipped with ropes. It seems unnecessary, but such is the case, and that is the price of great music. The so-called "Catgut" used in the violins made from sheep intestines.
The average length of sheep gut is twenty-four feet ten to twelve half the intestines to rotate a chain of only four hundred SAT one inch in diameter, with only the fine, soft mucous membrane, is used. A set of four strings of a violin eighty-eight inches long on average, and a set of four violin strings go intestines of two to three sheep.
Even old Dobbin to contribute their grain of sand, what a violin bow without a mane? Manufacturers now use 150 hairs on twenty-eight inches long in a standard arc, but pie, which created the bow of modern times, used a little less hair. Then comes the pork in its action, the leaders of tom-tom are usually made of pigskin.
All patches calfskin thin skin of the head increasingly thin "Slunks" or calves before birth. Many materials are used for the bass drum mallets, timpani, marimbas and bells. These include son, felt, rubber, hard rubber, the leather, wool and pyralin.
Copper is the most important metal used in the construction of the band and orchestral instruments. The large drum or drums are a piece of sheet copper in the half-sphere containing.
Copper is also the main ingredient used in the brass bells copper, about seventy pieces of copper are combined with thirty pieces of zinc brass form. Valves, wrenches and other parts are made of brass with a bronze alloy, in addition to the incorporation of small quantities of tin, aluminum, lead or other metals, depending on what is expected room.

If you are asked to give a recipe for a symphony orchestra, the historian who can go: Take a little oboe East, some of Greece clarinets and horns of Palestine. The man trade can go: Take the Var district of France cane, a little timber of Pernambuco in Brazil and some cocobolo Mozambique, South Africa.
Another and better would be to say: To form a symphony orchestra of a hundred pieces, make a mixture of 40 percent violins and violas, cellos 20 percent and low, with only a sprinkling of a harp or two.
Make another mixture of wind instruments composed of flutes, reeds and double reeds alone, up to 15 percent. Make a mixture of equal amounts of copper, consisting of trumpets, trombones, horns and tubas. For the three mixtures together and add 6 percent tympani, drums, bells and traps.
The recipe for a modern concert band would be something like this: Make a mixture about 38 percent soprano clarinet, viola and bass. Add to that about 10 percent of other wind instruments oboe, English horn, bassoon, flute.
Then make a mixture of about 38 percent copper, including horns, trumpets, trombones, trumpets, tubas and horns, bass-baritone. For both mixtures Stir together and saxophones at 8 percent. Then add 6 percent tympani, drums, bells and traps.

Stringed Musical Instruments
The conductor will determine the number of stringed instruments in a symphonic orchestra at any one time because it is his responsibility to select the music that will be played during a concert performance. The category for string instruments in a symphonic orchestra will include instruments such as the violin, viola, cellos, double basses, harp, and the piano. There are limits to the number of stringed instruments, and symphonic orchestras use only one piano and harp.
Each of these instruments incorporates the use of string to produce a musical sound. The methods for producing a musical sound incorporate the use of other musical accessories like a bow. A musician will train for many years to perfect the musical notes on a scale for each instrument, and some find that they can incorporate the use of the hands to pluck music from the string instrument if that instrument is the violin or cello. The harp will require the use of hands only to produce a musical note and the piano incorporates the use of certain key combinations to get the desired sound.
Musicians view string instruments such as the violin and violas as more user friendly because they are smaller and easy to carry. These stringed instruments will usually be stored in a carry case that is reinforced with foam that is the perfect shape of the instrument that is carried inside. The storage cases used for stringed musical instruments such as the cellos and double basses are considerably larger. The sheer size of the case will make it difficult to carry, but musicians are assured of safety because of the recessed compartment it contains.
Each musician that plays a string musical instrument will be provided with a musical stand at each symphonic concert. The musical stand is used to hold the various sheets of music that will be played during a concert and the musicians that play stringed instruments will be seated with chairs that point toward one stand because the sheets of music are shared between two musicians. One of those musicians will be given the responsibility of turning the sheets of music throughout the concert.
The responsibility for tuning string styled musical instruments is left up to the musician. The task is not a difficult one because the tuning process only involves tightening or loosening of the string, which is mounted on the instrument at various points with a wooden piece, called a resonator.
A string styled musical instrument is capable of emitting a wide range of sounds. A concert musician can regulate and control the pitch of those sounds by adjusting the level of tightness in the string. The process for tuning a stringed musical instrument is simplified somewhat because each string on the musical instrument will be attached to a knob. The knob can be hand turned in either direction anytime the string is deemed too loose or tight. The high range sounds are emitted when the string is set at its tightest setting and other strings can be loosened to gain access to the lower notes on the musical scale.
