opinions which is a better bow?
ok i am looking into a new bow or some what new bow i am looking at the bowtech 2010 or 2011 destroyer’s 340 or 350 or i am looking into a mathews monster 6.0 or 7.0 which is a better bow do u guys think for hunting, and a little 3d thanks
This is one time the Matthew does not come out ahead in the bow wars. The Bowtech is a much better drawing, smoother, shock free bow and still it produces blazing speed.
The Matthews on the other hand is built for one thing- pure speed. Everyone that has shot it says it has a harsh draw cycle.
The accuracy and smoothness goes to the Bowtech when the match up is between these 2 bows.
But I would look look and hard at one of either of the companies bows that has a 7 inch brace height or better. Both the bows you are thinking of has a 6 inch brace height. These bows will shoot well when you are maintaining perfect form. But under hunting conditions when your form is not so perfect, it will be hard to hit with an unforgiving bow that is designed for speed and not forgiveness or accuracy.
In the world of bowhunting, speed doesn’t kill. Accuracy does.
