Here there be dragons
Siegfried is still a little shy. Just come to the harvest last year, when a strong wind kept locked the store where the Middle East is expected dancers to perform. But this year we expect it to rise above the shops of merchants booths Re-enactors' buzzing and looking for wandering children.
Harvest Fair, the largest and oldest of the Renaissance Making the Virginia Peninsula, he returned to Williams Field in the Mariners' Museum Park Newport News, celebrating its 15th year. This a family event, with a period of historical reconstruction, dancers, live music, games vintage stories and much more. For 2009, the event will raise funds for the Food Bank and bring canned goods will be entered into special drawings. Punch & Judy is a new feature, this that sounds bad, like the South Park sound stage. Perennial favorite Suzy-Ray Vaughn and the desert wind is back and World Fusion Dance Theatre repeat spectacular development of the event last year. Turkey legs, a staple of most Hadas, will make his debut. The Fuertes winds and torrential rains have dimished equitable participation over the past two years, but all the wonders of the Fair at Williams Field as a flower Autumn: rain or shine.
Originally held at Quarterpath Park, the fair has become the field of 14 acres currently occupied, adding new scenarios and a range entirely. But remember – which is held one weekend only, so if you miss October 9-11, 2009, has found a lost tape – or perhaps the slightest echo of scraps of leather.

Are throwing stars, knives, blades of any kind legal to *possess* in the state of Virginia as a collector?
or to use in personal sport/recreation?
The pasttime of target practce; archery, throwing blades/darts is not much different than horseshoes except how easy it is to use the actual items used in the sport as dangerous weapons.
True, horseshoes themselves are heavy enough to cause a concussion but you see my point.
Are they legal if not used in an offensive manner, as opposed to sport or in the unlikely event, defensive manner?
I see people walking around with these things clipped on or worn or whatnot and it makes me wonder what the actual legalities and legistations are.
The Code of Virginia, 18.2-311, makes the possession of “throwing stars” illegal. There is no exemption for collectors.
Knives and blades are defined differently. While the Code of Virginia makes mention of dirks, bowie knives, etc., the definitions are not listed. As has been explained to me, you may not conceal any knife with a blade over 3 inches or a knife that is double edged.
Also, pay attention to the laws of the local jurisdiction. IE: In Henrico County, it is illegal to wear or carry a sword out in public. (Not to discourage gang members or criminals, but to discourage Civil War Reenactors.)
Good luck!
