Wii Sports Resort improves upon the original in a variety of different ways. Wii Sports featured a mere five different sports: tennis, boxing, baseball, golf, anD bowling. The sequel has upped the ante by adding ten brand new sports. While it includes bowling and golf from the original, it has added: Wakeboarding, Air Sports, Archery, Frisbee, Canoeing, Swordplay, Cycling, Basketball, Power Cruising and Table Tennis. Table Tennis is similar to the original tennis game, however it is modified to include the ability for the gamer to add spin to the ball while still swinging the controller.
Way to often do we find ourselves playing a video game and “beating” it. Once we’ve beaten a game we get bored of it and all of a sudden the game has served its purpose. Sports games are different like most Wii games because part of the fun of the game is playing with more than one person.
