Nottingham and Robin Hood
The English city of Nottingham has many unique features that distinguish it from cities of comparable size in the region East Midlands, but the only thing for which the town receives worldwide recognition is the legend of Robin Hood and his nemesis the Sheriff of Nottingham. The name and symbols of its history are well known symbols of the city and county of Nottinghamshire.
The powerful outlaw Robin Hood was a hero of the people was said to dwell in the depths of Sherwood Forest, north of Nottingham, back to the road and only civilized places to steal from the rich to feed poor. He used his long bow emblem of the struggle against injustice in the person of Sheriff and Prince John. But was it really?
Well, Sherwood Forest and Nottingham is no doubt, but apart from that it seems almost impossible to tell. Since 1200, the term "Robinhood" or "Robbehod" was used by Judges in England as a placeholder for the name of any fugitive or outlaw, and it seems that the oral tradition has grown up around the figure. In the center of the city of Nottingham, Old Market Square is said in the chapel where he won his Sheriff of Nottingham Arrow money in a contest of archery. I am against guns .. but?
It is part of an interview between a female broadcaster and General Cosgrove ABC, who would sponsor a Scout Troop visiting his military headquarters. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Cosgrove, what things will teach these young people when they visit your base? General Cosgrove: We will teach them climbing, canoeing, archery and shooting. FI: Shooting! It's a bit irresponsible, is not it? GC: Do not see why they will be properly supervised on the beach. IF: Have you not admit that is an extremely dangerous to teach children? GC: I do not see how. We will teach them proper rifle discipline before they even reach gun. FI: But you equip to become violent killers! GC: But, Madam, you are equipped to be a prostitute, but no one, no? The radio fell silent and the interview ended.
Susie Hey ~ This is a reminder note how the different thought processes. Cosgrove sees the gun As a practice in life that some people see meat knives. No one would cut a cardboard box with one or even stab a neighbor. However, some people ….. I do not want to share my views on guns, but the grace of this interview that he still does not understand the interviewer …. hi hi hi …. She out of line to say they have learned to be violent murderers. This was interspersed their own prejudices. People can use anything from a kitchen knife on a rock with equal ease. The sad irony is that it shows two polar ideas will not be met in the center.

What To Do On Your Holidays In Bhutan
Every tourist will be mesmerised by the Bhutan’s pristine environment and the majestic scenery and architecture of its wildlife and historical roots. Bhutan is a tiny Himalayan kingdom situated between giants China and India. But just think of the stunning scenery of flying clouds and green mountains, all difficulties and discomforts of trekking are worth the sacrifice.
As a kingdom of Buddhist religion, locals have always treasured the environment as confirmed by the many varieties of flora and fauna in the area. It is a land of many legends and tales and the people are most hospitable, where the air is refreshingly clean and where religion is seen as exciting.
The importance of religion is demonstrated by the remarkable Buddhist temples which are scattered all throughout the country. These include the Kurjey Lhakhang, a temple built around a cave with a body print of Guru Rinpoche embedded in the wall. It is the earliest Buddhist relic in the country. The other is the Takstashang Monastery or the Tiger’s Nest and known as the cliff-hanging Takstshang Monastery in Paro. This is one of the most popular Buddhist sites in the country. The temple is built on a 1,200 meter cliff and it is Bhutan’s most famous sacred site.
Much of its architecture is very impressive. For example, the dzongs are ancient fortresses that now serve as the civil and monastic administration headquarters of each district. These fortresses contain many treasures of the ancient kingdom of Bhutan.
Another attraction in Bhutan is its popular Thimphu Tshechu festival which happens during the late summer and fall. This is a ceremony where the masked dances by monks are developed according to precise instructions given by past Buddhist masters. According to many, watching these dances is considered to be very auspicious and enjoying experience.
The next intriguing attraction in Bhutan is archery. Since it is the national sport, competitions are held throughout the country most weekends. Many citizens of Bhutan participate in this sport. Tourists come to watch and join in with the boisterous cheering of support.
