Archery Arrows and go together like a long bow or crossbow. As Groucho and Harpo Marx like Lucy and Ricky. Archery and arrows must be set to end in common than just a sport and life are met. Without them, no place were injured in the distance. We must examine this pair of combo and see what is what holds them together.

What is the meaning of paragraph 4 of the code that is in my arrows alunimum?
I have some shooting with bow and arrow was purchase slots, and I wanted to know what the 4 digit code that appears in my arrows left. What is the meaning of these figures?
In almost all aluminum arrows code refers to the total diameter of the shaft of the arrow and thinkness metal rod. The first 2 numbers refer a statistic and the second 2 numbers refer to the other. Unfortunately, I do not remember which is which. Basically, you want the total diameter correspond to the width of the tip to use and if you want thicker metal arc drawing heavier (mostly attract a weight of more than 65 pounds) a store archery well bear the same model or arrows, but with different sizes and diameters to allow thinkness bows different inserts, etc., but it's not really hard and fast standards of size and can not try different arrows to see what seems to work better. Much store hunting the Goodwill fire arrows with different fletching (feathers), insertions, or points on the bow to see what appears shoot the smallest group.

Archery Equipment – Lighted Arrow Nocks
In the last few years lighted nocks for arrows have become very popular and much more reliable than they were when they first came out a few years ago. I personally use them on my hunting arrows so I have a better idea where I hit an animal, which gives me instant feedback on whether I made a perfect or less than perfect hit. Let’s take a look at a few of the different lighted nocks on the market.
Easton archery bought out Tracer nocks a couple years ago and made some improvements on an already very well designed nock. The Tracer nock is activated by a magnet that you attach to your riser shelf. When the arrow passes by the magnet the nock lights up for 30 seconds and then goes into a blinking mode to conserve battery life. The nocks battery life is rated for 90 hours; however, once you have a few hours of use you will notice they aren’t as bright. This isn’t a big concern if you are using them mostly for hunting and you usually don’t shoot too often.
Another brand of lighted nocks is the Lumenock which differs from the Tracer nocks magnetic activation. The Lumenok is the most popular lighted nock on the market and simply turns on by the force of the arrow being shot. The simplicity of its design and operation make it the lighted arrow nock of choice for many of today’s most progressive archers and professional bow hunters. The Lumenok adds only a few grains of weight to your arrow. No magnets are required for Lumenok function. Minimal arrow shaft end preparation and fitting are required for proper Lumenok function.
Firenock is one of the more recent additions to the lighted nock market. Firenocks use what they call the “G Switch”, This is the same technology as the 2nd arming switch in modern missiles. (i.e. it needs to sense a specific acceleration before it can be armed. This technology eliminates accidental misfire/self arming). Firenock “G” series is really a high-tech piece of equipment with the hunter’s designs in mind.

are there any good back stops for arrows (archery)?
my girlfriend just bought her own bow, she has a little trouble keeping the arrows on the block of foam, the first thought for a back stop was a old sheet of plywood, but when the arrows hit they either warp and bend or bounce tearing out the inserts. any other good idears??
There is a product called HOMOSOTE that you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe’s..It’s a construction material that comes in 4′ X 8′ sheets and is 1/2″ thick. It is gray in color and is made of compressed recycled paper fiber..The National Field Archery Association uses it as a back stop behind targets in Archery tournaments all over the U.S. It won’t hurt arrows, doesn’t cause the inserts to fall out,makes the best back stop I’ve ever seen. It will stop arrows shot from a compound bow easily at any range. They will penetrate but only go in about 3-6″ making the arrows easy to pull out………Last I bought cost $15.00 a sheet..Completely weatherproof too!
