bowtech opinions?
I’ve already asked about what people think about buying my husband a bow (don’t worry, as many wisely advised me, I will have him pick it out), but what does everyone think specifically about bowtech? Is it a good brand, or is it just a popular name… also, I’ve heard of bear bows? What are they and is that even the right name? And what about matthews (is that right?)…
When I went to a sporting goods store, the man in the archery department said that in addition to the bow, arrows, target, that we’ll need to get a release and a stabilizer. Now, can anyone tell me about that, if those are necessary, what they do, what exactly do you need when purchasing a bow?
Sorry, I’m NEW to the whole archery, bow and arrow thing so humor me… and in terms of hunting, what is a good bow for that? I have a feeling my husband will take that up in the future, so I’d like to know…

Spend the extra money , go with Bowtech , i hunt big game in southcentral and the Aleutians in Alaska , moose , kodiaks , and you couldnt give me anything else , IMHO there isnt a better bow on the market

Are you draw £ 150 a crossbow difficult?? Deer hunting ARCHERY ARROW LEAF BIG GAME GUNS tail
I 15 years and now get a book written 53 and there is no way I could pull 150 pounds in a neighborhood. Is it easier for the crossbow. I know there such devices and then it would be easier. 175 is a lot or send links to a website that explains how to obtain an age limit and the fact that I was not able to find in google. Everyone is built different, I saw 15 years ago can take 15 pounds and is 15 years I can fully lift the ground. To never find a guide that tells you what you should shoot. Ted Nugent and Archery
When I think about Rock ‘N Roll, One of the first names I think of is Ted Nugent. Throughout the 70′s and 80′s “The Nudge” as he is so dearly called, Rocked the world with hits such as “Cat Scratch Fever” and the anthem of “Wang Dang Sweet Puntang”. As he got his start around the mid 70′s as Ted Nugent and The Amboy Dukes, A lot of his material is actually written from a hunters point of view. In 1974 Ted embarked on trying to record and manage his own albums and tell his story his way. Bad management decisions didn’t help in his devours one bit. Still yet a classic album was born with the title “Tooth,Fang and Claw”. In my opinion this album was his greatest work that he ever let out the studio. This was the year that his daughter Sasha was born, Hence the song “Sasha” with the lyrics “Smile, Sasha Smile, You make my life worth while”. This album also included the anthem “Great White Buffalo”. One particular favorite of mine was a song called “Living’ in the Woods”, “Living’ in the woods, Feeling mighty good, I feel good, I got my face in the wind baby.
This particular song was an anthem of his love of nature and of the game of hunting. “If you see me coming round, Knife in my pouch, Listen to the birds that flow down south”. Here is where we get our first real glimpse of Brother Ted as we know him today. We can also say that this is where we first get a taste of The Motor City Madman at his peak. As an Ohioan myself, I see a lot of Brother Ted in myself often. A lot of people confuse Ohio and Michigan as the Midwest, Which we don’t ever consider ourselves to be in the Midwest. We do consider ourselves to be hunters, We take great pride in our hunting, Fishing and love of our rivers and woods. There is nothing like a good deer steak, Or any good wild game. This is the way that God meant for us to live, This is were Archery for a lot of us folks comes into play. There’s nothing like taking down a deer or other wild game without firearms. Archery is a much more human clean way to go in for the kill. Quiet and at close range, For food, not just to kill something. This is where a lot of these so called animal rights people get off the beaten path.
The sport of Archery in hunting isn’t killing, It’s the art of survival and being part of the food chain. I personally don’t understand how anyone can be a total vegetarian. The human body need vegetables for sure, But God meant man to eat meat.
If its only to read and study about the history of Archery.
It still holds a lot of information and learning potential for your mind to develop on something new.

How should I end my first paragraph in my “Apollo” essay?
This is what I have so far:
Apollo is by far one of the most interesting gods featured in Greek and Roman mythology and there are many stories told about his heroism, love affairs, inventions, and contests. The son of Zues and Leto and the twin brother of Artemis, he is the god of music (one of his symbols being the lyre), colonization, prophecy, medicine, archery (but not for hunting or war), poetry, dance, and he took care of herds and flocks. Although he is a god he fell in love with many humans and even had children with some of them, the most well known being Asclepius and Orpheus. He is often seen with bow and arrows, on his head a laurel crown, the cithara (or lyre) and a plectrum (basiclly a pick).
I’m just listing things and I don’t know how to end it!
Its always fun to end paragraphs with a quote but its quite difficult to find a meaningful one about Apollo.
So I guess something like “In the reticulum of Greek myths involving Apollo, it becomes apparent that his fame is warranted due to his feats and accomplishments”… or just another general statement that sums up the point of your essay
