I want to start hunting birds with archery equipment more details below!?

I am hunting in thick hay so flu flu arrows won’t do any good because I won’t be able to find them. I want to get a thin rope and somehow tie it to my arrow and my bow so when I shoot and miss (it will happen) i can just follow the rope or pull in my arrow. What do you think of this? If tied correctly could it work? This is more a means of stopping the arrow once it runs out of rope…..that way they will only fly about 50 yards or so depending on the length of the rope and I can just follow it to retrieve my arrow…..thanks for your advice

a different approach but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work at very short range. Try a bow-fishing set-up but lose the fishing arrows and heads. The reel should make it easy to rerieve your arrows.

just type “muzzy bowfishing” into your yahoo search for a link to equipment
